Join in supporting 10 Children in Adoption Pool

To mark 10 Glorious Years of #ReimaginingAdoption, we are embarking upon an ambitious initiative of supporting 10 children in Adoption Pool for next 10 years, specifically with respect to their needs in

UPSKILLING and TRANSITION, for children in the age group of 13-16yrs of age, as they age out of the system, after turning 18 years of age AND

DIFFERENTLY ABLED children for meeting their Medical requirements

We are now inviting all SAAs and CCIs to apply for financial support in respect of above children. Please use the below form to Apply for Support in respect of a Child meeting the requisite criterion:

Terms and Conditions:

1. The child must be Legally Free for Adoption and staying in the CCI / SAA for at least last two years
2. The child must be enlisted in the Immediate Placement or Special Need Category of CARA
3. In case of special need, the need should have pre-existed for at least one year, and likely to persist for another two years – requiring continuous support as a medical or development intervention such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy etc.
4. In cases of Special Need, an attending doctor’s Medical certificate has to be enclosed clearly identifying the Special Need, Monthly expenses and remedial action / therapy required.
5. In case of upskilling, children between 13-16 years of age need to be identified who are undergoing a training, vocational course or coaching or who intend picking up such skills, such as computer courses, skilled employment training, diplomas etc. with direct funding provided to the service provider. General hobbies will NOT be supported through this program – only genuine skilling activities, intended to make the child self-reliant.
6. In cases of Upskilling / coaching / Schooling, a letter from the Coach / School / Training Institute has to be provided clearly providing the details of the child, coaching or skill development proposed or undertaken and monthly expense for the same
7. All funds would be given directly to the agency / service provider / health care provider offering services in special need or upskilling in their Bank Account.
8. The CCI /SAA will be required to execute an undertaking for receiving the support from FoJ for the named child, under its 10×10 Program and submitting a quarterly compliance certificate in the prescribed format.
9. The agency / service provider / health care provider will be required to execute an undertaking for receiving the support for FoJ under its 10×10 Program and providing the agreed service / training / coaching for a minimum period of one year and also submitting a quarterly compliance certificate in the prescribed format.
10. The CCI / SAA will appoint a Contact Person to monitor the continuance of the Support from FoJ.
11. Each CCI  / SAA can  apply for a maximum of 5 Children under the Program.
12. The CCI /SAA would facilitate further due diligence required to approve the funding for the child, including providing further information and/or documents as required and meeting the child and the service provider.
